2K Games Announces Release Date for BioShock® for PLAYSTATION®3 System

Genetically enhanced PLAYSTATION 3 system version of BioShock to debut in North America on October 21

(NASDAQ: TTWO), announced today that BioShock® for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system will be available at retailers in North America on October 21 and internationally on October 24. KONAMI RELEASES NEW SCREENSHOTS OF SILENT HILL HOMECOMING

Konami has unveiled new screenshots of its soon-to-be-released survival horror title, Silent Hill Homecoming. Registration Now Open for OGPlanet Olympics Cross-Game Competition

PURE Pre-Order Retail Offers Get Unhinged

Demo Disc for PLAYSTATION3 and Xbox 360 To Be Available at Select Major U.S. and Canadian Retailers A sneak preview of PURE, the action sports video game featuring four-wheel vehicles, will be available the week of August 18 throughout the United States at select major retailers, for ordering both in-store and online. Disney Interactive Studios announced today that a pre-order demo disc of PURE will be available at GameStop, Best Buy (U.S. and Canada), Blockbuster, Game Crazy, EB Games (Canada), and other retailers.

PURE was selected as the Best Racing Game of E3 2008 by the Game Critics Awards, the most prestigious awards for each year's E3 Media & Business Summit.

The PURE pre-order demo disc is available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and will include a game tutorial and one complete track from the game. NEW YORK & BOCA RATON, Fla. - August 14, 2008 Atari, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: ATAR), an interactive entertainment company, and Empire Interactive, an international publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software and a subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings (Nasdaq CM:SSTR), have entered into a multi-year exclusive distribution agreement. NCsoft Ushers in a New Age in Lineage II Gameplay New update, Gracia – Part 1, completely changes the way Lineage II is played

AUSTIN, Texas, August 13, 2008–NCsoft®, the world’s leading publisher and developer of online computer games, today announced major changes in its massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, Lineage®II. In an update from The Chaotic Throne™ series called Gracia™ – Part 1, players will find advancing in the game to be dramatically faster. This, plus a host of other changes to enhance the player experience, makes this update much more accessible to newer players than before.

The increase in leveling speed is due in part to a new Vitality system, which rewards the player with an experience bonus for time either spent away from the game or in safe zones. New characters will start out with maximum Vitality, so they can begin improving their character’s advancement within minutes. An increase in rewards for accomplishing quests, battling boss creatures, as well as greater accessibility of items also enable players to increase their character’s level more quickly.

NCsoft Announces 2008 Second Quarter Consolidated Sales of US$78.6 Million

Compared to the previous corresponding year, sales rose 7% Pre-tax profit reached US$10.2 million

Seoul, South Korea, Aug. 13, 2008 – NCsoft® Corporation today reported second quarter 2008 sales of KRW 81.2 billion (US$78.6 million), operating profit of KRW 8 billion (US$7.7 million), pre-tax profit of KRW 10 billion (US$9.7 million), and net income of KRW 6.1 billion (US$5.9 million). Compared to the previous year, sales rose 7% while the operating profit, pre-tax profit and the net income dropped 25%, 31%, 42%, respectively.

NCsoft announced that the increase in sales was due primarily to the shutting down of private Lineage® servers and the successful update of Lineage II Gracia™ Part 1. The drop in operating profit was due to continued investment, including personnel, in development studios across the NCsoft organization.

By region, the percentage breakdown of sales for the second quarter shows 58% in Korea (KRW 46.6 billion/US$44.5 million), and 42% from overseas entities and royalty income: 13% in North America (KRW 10.8 billion/US$10.4 million), 6% in Europe (KRW 5.3 billion/US$5.1 million), 13% in Japan (KRW 10.7 billion/US$10.3 million), 4% in Taiwan (KRW 2.9 billion/US$2.8 million) and royalty income of 6% (KRW 4.7 billion/US$4.5 million).
