Call of Duty 4's GOTY edition ships
Sam & Max head to Wii
Sam & Max Coming to Wii
Complete first season of episodic games
to hit retail stores this fall
SAN RAFAEL, CA, April 4, 2008 – As
part of a continuing effort to extend episodic gaming to new audiences and
platforms, Telltale is officially announcing that Sam & Max Season One
will be coming to Wii™. This collection of the first six Sam & Max
episodes will introduce a brand new audience to the popular and
critically-acclaimed game series. Sam & Max for Wii is expected to
ship to retail stores worldwide this fall, thanks to a partnership between
Telltale and JoWooD/DreamCatcher.
Sam & Max's journey to the Wii
console has been fueled by fan excitement. Just before the episodic
series' PC debut, fans launched an email campaign clamoring for a Wii
version of the series. Continuous rumors and rampant speculation online
led to developer and publisher enthusiasm for the title. With Telltale now
focusing on console development in addition to PC, the company can finally
bring Sam & Max to Wii in response to this overwhelming demand.
The Sam & Max episodes let players
guide the Freelance Police through a series of bizarre—and often
sidesplitting—mysteries. Sam & Max Season One has already
experienced enormous success, both as an episodic series available for
download through Telltale's website and other services, and at retail.
Honors include Adventure Game of the Year from GameSpy and IGN, and
inclusion on Games for Windows' list of Top 10 Games in 2007.
The Wii console is a perfect fit for the
Sam & Max games. The series' story-driven gameplay and episodic
structure has often been favorably compared to TV sitcoms. The new Wii
version will present Sam & Max in a format that can be enjoyed from
the comfort of the living room, either alone or with a group of friends—a
setting perfectly suited for this kind of experience. The game's
easy-to-use interface is ideal for a broad consumer audience.
Sam & Max first hit the indie comic
scene in 1987, courtesy of franchise creator Steve Purcell. In the twenty
years since, they have appeared in an animated TV series, an Eisner-winning
webcomic, and numerous video games. The success of the Sam & Max
episodic series has fueled a renaissance for the franchise. Telltale
recently released a special 20th Anniversary Edition of the complete Sam
& Max comic collection, Surfin' the Highway, after nearly a decade out
of print, and a DVD box set of the 1997 animated series has just been
published by Shout Factory. Both are available in Telltale's online store
(www.telltalegames.com/store), along with other Sam & Max merchandise.
Sam & Max Season One for Wii will be
published by Dreamcatcher/The Adventure Company in North America, and by
JoWooD in Europe. In addition to English language, the game will be fully
localized in French and German, and subtitled in Italian and Spanish. All
versions are expected to ship during the fall 2008 season.
About Sam & Max
Sam is a six-foot dog in a baggy suit
sporting a trombone-sized .44 hand-cannon. Max is a three foot "rabbity
thing" with a saw blade grin and the impulsive nature of the average
piranha. Together they patrol the sticky streets of a fantastical New York
City, righting wrongs, pummeling perps, and ridding the urban landscape of
the shifty legions of "self-propelled gutter trash" that litter
their streets. Sam & Max have appeared in comics, video games, an
animated TV series coming soon to DVD, and an Eisner award-winning
webcomic.

UBISOFT LAUNCHES AN AIR ASSAULT
WITH TOM CLANCY'S H.A.W.X(TM)
New Tom Clancy Intellectual Property
Poised to Become the New Air Combat Benchmark
SAN FRANCISCO – April 3rd, 2008 –
Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announces
the development of Tom Clancy's HAWX (high-altitude warfare), an
awe-inspiring game that is primed to revolutionize the way players think
about combat in the sky. Scheduled for release in Fall 2008, Tom Clancy's
HAWX turns consumers into elite pilots of the future. The game will appear
on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the
PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and on Windows-based PC.
"Tom Clancy's HAWX marks the next
evolution of warfare set in the Tom Clancy video game universe,” said
Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft.
"We are thrilled to take to the skies and provide a new environment
along with an extension of a familiar storyline from Ubisoft's successful
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2®.”
Developed by Ubisoft's Bucharest studio,
Tom Clancy's HAWX delivers an intense and authentic aerial combat
experience by fully leveraging the benefits of the next-generation
platforms. The story begins in the year 2012. As the era of the
nation-state draws quickly to a close, the rules of warfare evolve even
more rapidly. More and more nations become increasingly dependent on
private military companies (PMCs), elite mercenaries with a lax view of
the law. The Reykjavik Accords further legitimize their existence by
authorizing their right to serve in every aspect of military operations.
While the benefits of such PMCs are apparent, growing concerns surrounding
giving them too much power begin to mount.
Tom Clancy's HAWX is the first air
combat game set in the world-renowned Tom Clancy video game universe.
Cutting-edge technology, devastating firepower and intense dogfights
bestow upon this new title a deserving place in the prestigious Tom Clancy
franchise. Soon, flying at Mach 3 becomes a right, not a privilege.
Key Features of Tom Clancy's HAWX:
• ENHANCED REALITY SYSTEM (E.R.S.) -
E.R.S. is in-game technology that helps turn novice aviators into elite
pilots of the future. The Enhanced Reality System is the backbone of the
HAWX flight experience: radars and incoming missile detection, anti-crash
system, damage control system, tactical map and information relay, and
weapons trajectory control. E.R.S. also allows players to issue orders to
their squadron, making this system as iconic to HAWX as the Cross-Com
system is to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
• ASSISTANCE MODE – Players can ease
into their flight missions and gain a level of comfort with the use of the
assistance mode. Once employed, players can take full advantage of their
technological support through the E.R.S and gain maximum piloting
security. If the situation calls for the player to unleash the full
potential of the aircraft, the assistance mode can be switched off and all
safety features will be deactivated. This comes with increased risks, but
allows the player advanced dogfighting maneuvers and stunning third-person
views.
• REVOLUTIONARY MULTIPLAYER - For the
first time ever in the air-combat genre, players will be able to
experience the entire solo campaign in four-player JUMP IN co-op mode. In
PVP mode, players can challenge up to 15 friends in intense dogfighting
sessions and find out who's the top gun. Winning players are rewarded with
experience points and money to unlock more weapons.
• REALISM AND AUTHENTICITY – Players
have the opportunity to take the throttle of over 50 of the world's most
famous aircrafts, as well as being able to dogfight over realistic modern
landscapes that have endured years of post-war trauma.

HAWX, please visit www.hawxgame.com.

Combat Mission Shock Force v1.08
patch out now!
What we have for you today is no joke though as we are extremely pleased
to announce the release of the v1.08 Patch for Combat Mission Shock Force.
The patch is available for owners of any of the three published versions
of the game (Battlefront.com, Paradox Interactive, Gamersgate).
One of the reasons we are so pleased
with the v1.08 patch is sheer amount of content included. Over 70
different changes, improvements, fixes and new features have been added.
This v1.08 patch affects everything from the Game Graphics and Effects to
the Tactical and Defensive AI Behaviors, Pathfinding, Spotting, Line of
Sight, Weapons and Unit Data and more!
In the past we have always released
"all-inclusive" patches (which can be used on any previously
patched or unpatched copy of the game) but this time, for the
Battlefront.com version only, we are also offering a much smaller
"incremental" patch which will upgrade the game from v1.07 to
the new v1.08 level. The incremental patch is not available for the
Paradox Interactive or Gamersgate versions of the game.
Sierra Entertainment Announces
Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy Worldwide Debut in June 2008
Uncover Jason Bourne's Past Amidst
Non-Stop Action Featuring Signature Bourne Style Driving and Intense
Combat
Los Angeles - April 02, 2008 - Sierra
Entertainment today announced that the Robert Ludlum's The Bourne
Conspiracy™ video game will ship in North America June 3, 2008 on
Microsoft's Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system and the
PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The game brings Jason
Bourne's signature combat style to life by sharply blending a seamless mix
of hand-to-hand fighting, gunplay and dramatic escapes. To round out the
non-stop action to the title's hunter-prey game play, The Bourne
Conspiracy will give gamers a re-imagination of the high speed pursuit
through Paris in the Mini Cooper®.
Through close partnership with Ludlum
Entertainment, and collaboration on story and character development with
Bourne screenwriter Tony Gilroy, The Bourne Conspiracy is an intense
interactive addition to the blockbuster films and best-selling novels. The
game delivers an original story uncovering Jason Bourne's past and the
conspiracy shrouding his origins, plunging players into the role of Bourne
as both trained assassin and marked government agent. Core to the
experience is Bourne's definition as a perfect weapon with heightened
combat instinct, where players use Bourne's characteristic capabilities to
recognize threats, perform devastating takedown moves and use his
surrounding environment to overcome deadly situations.
"Wrought with action, combat,
elaborate escape scenes and untold story, the Bourne series is making a
natural progression into the interactive medium," said Al Simone,
senior vice president, global marketing, Sierra Entertainment. "We're
pleased to announce that this June gamers will have the chance to
experience the dangerously exciting aura and frenetic pace inherent in the
Bourne franchise."
Developed by High Moon Studios and based
around a combat system co-designed by Jeff Imada, the renowned
choreographer who defined Bourne-style combat in the films, The Bourne
Conspiracy delivers gamers every signature Jason Bourne element, from
hand-to-hand fighting to shooting to escape and evasion. Framing the
experience is a relentless pace of action and an in-game camera system
that captures the cinematography techniques that established the memorable
visual style of the films.
Capturing the intense high-speed pursuit
based on the memorable car chase from The Bourne Identity, players will
take the wheel in an upgraded version of Marie's red Mini Cooper trying to
evade seemingly every police car in Paris. Arcade racing-style game play
and destructive stunt setups combine with Bourne instinct-based game
mechanics to create a previously unseen and unforgettable action driving
experience.
"We're creating a video game that
is distinctly Bourne, based on a deconstruction of the character from
action hero to game hero, and one that we ultimately believe gamers will
discover as a distinctively original licensed action game," said
Emmanuel Valdez, chief creative officer, High Moon Studios and game
director on The Bourne Conspiracy.

Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy video game, including screenshots and video

are now over six hundred playable nations, such as:
* MA Ulm Suffering From A Mid-Life
Crisis: It's just like regular MA Ulm but now everyone has a Corvette.
* Inviso-Nation: No, we didn't forget to
do the graphics, all your units are invisible.
* LA CTD: Can you finish your turn or
will you get the blue screen of death? Ooo, feel the excitement!
And yes, there are now thousands of new
units, magic items, and spells (including well over two hundred cantrips)

Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
* Velvet Running Suit (Magic Item): Damn
society, drape your pretender in velvet!
Dominions 4: Succubi In Heat also boasts
a brand new ASCII based graphics engine and a totally new combat system
that puts YOU into the game! Called the Live Action Magical Engine Combat
System, LAME works by the use of RFID chips. Each game comes with a
thousand of these, easily attached to clothing through a velcro backing.
When you enter combat you simply attach the RFID chips to a thousand of
your closest friends, find a large open area, and then attack each other.
The chips then transmit the coordinates and actions to the game's server,
which then in turn translates it to the battle screen. Now YOU'RE in
command of the battle!
As amazing as the LAME system is,
Shrapnel Games and Illwinter Game Design will be pushing into new

annual PlayStation AM JAM tour, providing opportunity and exposure for
talented young athletes rising to the top in their respective
sports." "The high level of talent we have found the last four
years on the PlayStation AM JAM has been terrific," stated Gary Ream,
Woodward's President. "We might have missed some of this incredible
talent had PlayStation not provided this extraordinary opportunity. The
PlayStation AM JAM is a premier event for finding the new stars in
Skateboarding and BMX Freestyle." Open to legal U.S. citizens between

April revamp for PS Store
Emergency Heroes save Wii
Mr. Driller Hits Xbox Live
PlayStation Store to Revamp for
PS3 in April
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA)
today announced that it will revamp the PLAYSTATION®Store for
PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) in mid-April with a new, more dynamic look and
improved navigation. Currently an integrated online storefront, the
PLAYSTATION Store will live natively on PS3, enabling customers to more
easily and quickly locate and purchase games, and download demos, game
videos, Blu-ray movie trailers and other game-related content for PS3.
To enable enhancements to be made to the
store, no additional downloadable content will be posted prior to the
revamp, starting April 3. However, customers will be able to access,
browse, shop and download from the PLAYSTATION Store during this period.
Regularly scheduled PLAYSTATION Store content updates will resume with
additional games and game-related items, including the downloadable
version of the highly-anticipated exclusive PS3 title Gran Turismo™ 5
Prologue, the next installment of the billion dollar selling racing
franchise and intense precursor to Gran Turismo™5.
In the PLAYSTATION Store, customers can
use their PLAYSTATION Network accounts and “virtual wallets” to
seamlessly purchase and download content for PS3. The PLAYSTATION Store
revamp will not affect PLAYSTATION Network accounts or the virtual wallet
system. There are currently more than 3.5 million registered
PLAYSTATION®Network accounts in North America.
The PLAYSTATION Store can be accessed
via XMB™ (XrossMediaBar). Customers accessing PLAYSTATION Store starting
in mid April will be prompted to download a free firmware update, which
will automatically enable access to the new PLAYSTATION Store.
