OGPlanet Rings in 2008 with Contests, New Items 

El Segundo, Calif.- Jan. 10, 2008- OGPlanet, an innovative provider of multiplayer online games, today announced two events and a number of new in-game items for Albatross18 and Rumble Fighter, two of its popular massively-multiplayer online games.

Beginning Jan. 12, Albatross18 players will compete for prizes in the Birdie Marathon 500. For one week, OGPlanet will keep track of the numbers of birdies hit in the golf role-playing game. At the end of the Birdie Marathon 500, players will be rewarded with in-game items according to the number of birdies they've hit. Prizes will include Mulligan Roses (redeemable for a free second chance if a swing doesn't go well in a tournament), Power Boosts (used to increase distance by 10 yards for one swing), and Pang Mastery potions.

The Play Hard Get More event in Rumble Fighter will reward players who play a total of more than seven hours between Jan. 10 and Jan. 16 with a +200 Turtle Shell, which will protect them from rear attacks for 200 hits. Prizes will be awarded on Jan. 17. New items abound this month in both Albatross18 and Rumble Fighter. Albatross18 players will have access to SWAT-like Tactical Gear for Max, cozy Knit Sweaters for Arin, and a Crimson Ring that increases distance by 4 yards. In Rumble Fighter, new in-game items this month include a Martial Arts ExoCore, Silver Earrings, Rocker and Corset Tops, Hardvard Schoolgirl Skirts and Bigger Afro, a huge new hairstyle.

Don Quixote was brought in by his owner who was concerned when the Iguana appeared to hurt his leg chasing one of his lady friends at a party. His sister thought she felt a lump and suggested bringing Don in for an examination.

2. Use the pulse ox meter on the ear

3. Use the magnifying glass to investigate the hind leg

4. Using the palpation glove, feel the patient’s hind leg

5. Use the blood test syringe on the tail

6. Antiseptic wipe on the hind leg

7. Scalpel on the wound to open up for a closer look

8. Perform a bacterial test on the wound

9. Place forceps on the wound to keep open

10. Suture the wound

11. Use the medication syringe on the hind leg

After careful examination, the patient is diagnosed with an Abscess Mass and treated for the problem. He is now back home living happily with his owner.

Logan the Hamster

Logan was brought in with difficulty breathing and blood around his eyes. Upon a preliminary examination you noticed cloudy discharge from the nose, bloody crust around the eyes, and abnormal respiratory sounds. His owner, a doctor himself, presumes infection.

4. Place an oxygen mask on the mouth

5. Perform blood test on the back legs

6. X-ray on the chest

7. Perform bacterial test on the nose

The final diagnosis on this patient is a Mycoplasma infection. The oral medication will help heal the patient and have him home in no time.

Lana the Beagle

Lana the Beagle is brought in after sticking her nose where it didn’t belong. This is evident by the cut on her nose that is still bleeding a lot.

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Acquires Illusion Softworks

New York, NY – January 7, 2008 – Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) today announced the acquisition of Illusion Softworks, a premier Central European-based game development studio with operations in Brno and Prague, the Czech Republic. Illusion Softworks has approximately 200 employees and will join Take-Two’s 2K Games publishing label as its newest studio, 2K Czech.
